The exact date of the meeting of visiting yachtsmen and local yachting enthusiasts held to discuss the formation of The Grenada Yacht Club in unknown. It is however, believed to have taken place in 1953 in the home of George and Julien Rapier then of Tyrell Street, St. George’s the capital city of Grenada.

Well placed bar and restaurant. Sometimes there are music and arts events which are fun. Staff and service middling, food fair
Very nice ambiance, good food happy with my lobster and at a very good price, views are good only slightly spoilt by the view of the docks. Good evening had by all, child friendly
Grenada Yacht Club is one of the best restaurants on island(10/10). Food is served within reasonable amount of time and is not pricey. There are weekly entertainments at the GYC, the karaoke and jazz nights are my favorites. Great management by Ms. Charles.
